Osaka, Japan, August 1, 2025 - Ono Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President and COO: Toichi Takino; “ONO”) announced that it resolved to establish Ono Global Reinsurance, Inc. as a wholly-owned subsidiary at the meeting of its Board of Directors held today.

1. Purpose for establishment:

   In order to improve risk management systems, ONO will establish Ono Global Reinsurance, Inc., a subsidiary that underwrites non-life insurance of ONO and its group companies as reinsurance, for the purpose of establishing and operating stable insurance programs.
